Immigrants who flee socialist countries vote for Democrats in overwhelming numbers.
Democrats who flee blue states due to high cost of living and corruption, move to red states and vote Democrats.
Can they not make the connection?
If Democrat policies are so wonderful, why not stay?
We ran out of stuff to loot back home.

They don’t realize how much they’ve come to depend on the gov to provide everything for them.

I’ve asked myself the same question for years.
Because they have no clue about economics or history. And they’re dumbasses.
Many of these people are reasonable and logical but they have spent most of their lives surrounded by liberal thought.
It is hard to unlearn the propaganda line.
They voted democrat or republican all their life..
It does not matter who is running..
They don’t care about anyone else. They are parasites want free stuff! When they suck their host dry, they move on to another host!

They always seem to leave because of the “taxes”.
Then they vote IN the taxes in the next place.
They a) don’t seem to notice that taxes are a common plank of the left or b) don’t see that taxes necessarily go along with the philosophy they embrace otherwise, that “social” issues are directly linked with “economic” issues - thus, their Dems are going to put taxes in along with their “money for all” schemes.
Because they’re stupid? I think most people disconnect their voting from everyday reality. I had some friends, hardcore Berniebots, who moved south to NC after we graduated because the tech economy is booming. I have no doubt they remain leftwing dumdumbs, and they’ve never stopped to connect why NC is booming with the political situation.
Not buying that. No sale.
For example, I'd guess the majority who leave CA are *anything* but leftist.

It’s kind of like being all for solar and wind power, but not wanting solar fields or wind mills next to their homes.
Also, to be a commie, you can’t be too bright to begin with.
They flee the high taxes and onerous government regulations, but miss the free stuff.
So they move, then vote for free stuff, not realizing that the high taxes and government regulations come along with it.
