I don’t understand what you people who are taking this accusation seriously think can even be achieved here. Let’s forget the propensity of the left to do this (I love how Roy Moore passing a polygraph didn’t matter, but apparently this woman’s alleged polygraph does) for a second.
What is the standard by which you demonstrate that either party is telling the truth? If you can’t answer that question, how do you justify taking the claim seriously when she says she told nobody until 30+ years after the incident? There is no potential to gather evidence, as 36 years later there’s certainly no physical evidence.
There’s a reason why we have statutes of limitations in America. It’s not so criminals can run the clock out on charges, it’s because after a certain amount of time evidence which proves innocence may become unavailable. That’s the standard we need to keep in mind in light of this accusation. If there is no evidence, you cannot thrust this matter into a confirmation process.
All the more reason to not give them the monkeys flinging poo scene that they want by letting this woman testify and having it covered live by the TV networks. There was more than a week of hearings. Why didn’t she come forward during them? Give them the phone call and hold the vote as scheduled. If that’s not good enough for Corker, Flake and the other undocumented democrats then move forward without them and press Tester and Manchin - whose votes are more important to the upcoming elections anyway.
The democrats want to grandstand and show off their metoo cred. Don’t let them. Trump them.

I have a sister that went thru some physic repressed memories hoopla and came out afterwards accusing me and my brother of all kinds of stupid BS that she says she now vividly remembers from her childhood days, but I know for a fact, they never took place. To this day, she blames my brother and I for stuff that never really happened.
It’s indoctrinated thoughts put in their heads and they’re made to think that it’s their own repressed memory. They’re nuttier than a fruitcake. And the people that do this crap to them ought to be locked up....like forever.

Feinstein pops this accusation just when it would do the most damage. In this case, it’s just before the vote when Kavanaugh has no time to dispute its allegations. They did this to Roy Moore. Kavanaugh is being victimized by a last minute tactic where there is no time to bring evidence against its accuracy.
