I don’t understand what you people who are taking this accusation seriously think can even be achieved here. Let’s forget the propensity of the left to do this (I love how Roy Moore passing a polygraph didn’t matter, but apparently this woman’s alleged polygraph does) for a second.
What is the standard by which you demonstrate that either party is telling the truth? If you can’t answer that question, how do you justify taking the claim seriously when she says she told nobody until 30+ years after the incident? There is no potential to gather evidence, as 36 years later there’s certainly no physical evidence.
There’s a reason why we have statutes of limitations in America. It’s not so criminals can run the clock out on charges, it’s because after a certain amount of time evidence which proves innocence may become unavailable. That’s the standard we need to keep in mind in light of this accusation. If there is no evidence, you cannot thrust this matter into a confirmation process.

But even if there was some contact between two teenagers fifty years ago. Is it possible that it was some sort of misunderstanding by clumsy kids? Is it possible the lefty lady is embellishing the encounter for political reasons?
teenagers are awkward people who sometimes get themselves into awkward situations.
At best this is unfortunate misunderstanding. At worst this is a craven attempt by politicians to do by innuendo what they are unable to do by legitimate means.

This tactic should infuriate people and cause a backlash against the vile Democrats. Sadly forty percent of the American population does not have the discerning skills or disposition to recognize this nonsense for what it is. They will vote Democrat regardless of the facts.
There isn't any evidence, and they thrust it into the confirmation process anyway.

All her social media was scrubbed before the Chinese spy protector released her anonymous letter.
The timing comes from this woman's psychiatrist.
It was only after a recent visit to her psychiatrist, who is a Dem party DONOR, that she was able to 'suddenly' remember that one of the 'guys' at the party, which she couldn't remember the location of, or why she was there, or what even happened, was Kavanaugh.
I belive she said she didn’t remember the incident until she went to some kind of therapy session that brought up the regressed memory....
She’s very clearly a left-wing activist. If the Kavanaugh nomination is successfully scuttled they will try this line of attack with all judicial nominees and republicans running for office.
The bigger issue here is that Dianne Feinstein sat on this letter for 2-3 months and never uttered a peep about it when she was sitting on the Judiciary Committee questioning Kavanaugh directly, but now wants to delay the confirmation vote while an "investigation" is done.
Her ass needs to be dragged in front of this committee so she can be interrogated over her conduct. By definition, this means she must step down from the committee.
Perhaps after Kavanaugh is confirmed, one of Roy Moore’s lawsuits will go to the SC.
I mean, manufactured memories of traumatic experiences almost never damage the reputation of people of good character.
I’ve reached the point where I firmly believe that the left is incapable of telling the truth - even when their miserable lives depend on it.
