I am thinking about setting up a wireless security system. I want just the basic plug in and go, no monthly fees.

I am looking at Blink for its simplicity (no monthly fee, free cloud storage, app, etc.). I do not live in a high-crime area. Its a small town. I would just like to be able to have a look-see when I am not home. Thoughts/experiences? Thank you.

I looked it up. It seems a bit pricey. Keep looking. (btw I have 23 years in the electronic security business.)

I think for your needs you just need motion activated cameras.
No sense in worrying about it from afar, just need evidence and insurance.

Do NOT go with ADT. Trying to get out of their contract is worse than pulling teeth. I hate their effing guts.
Get some security cameras and a watch dog. Costs less and works.
