Earlier stories list the address only as the 5200 block of Danbury Avenue. It looks like it’s smack in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. There are definitely landmarks nearby, but none that seem close enough that he would/could tunnel to them. At least not as far as he’d tunneled so far. We’re talking about yards vs. miles. (Correct me if I’m wrong.)

New question: Why has this story become newsworthy just today? Today is the 1 year anniversary of the fire, but lots of crimes/fires have one year anniversaries and they don’t suddenly become news again.
Another tidbit from 2017 early reports, the victim remained unidentified 15 days after the fire. Why? The alleged perp certainly knew who it was.
