Another controversial loss for Serena Williams at the US Open. How many have their been?
2004 Quarterfinal against Jennifer Capriati with several blown calls. This led to the current challenge system.
2009 Semifinal against Kim Clijsters. Was given a penalty on match point and lost after she went on a tirade against a lines person for calling a foot fault.
Today's final against Osaka.

The crowd was just as ugly for booing during the trophy presentation. They had the poor winner in tears, although $3+ mil will provide Osaka some comfort. With more endorsements to follow.
