"Podesta" Autocorrects to "Lodestar"

This observation was made in a number of tweets long before now. Back to at least early 2015. Now which anonymous reporter was sending messages to John Podesta back then which would have autocorrected to "Lodestar" and might have stayed in his memory? Hmmmmmm......

Mine just tries to correct to “poshest” or “pod estate”. Yawn.

Not as often as the person who wrote this in which "Podesta" was used twice in just one of his paragraphs:

Firefox does that too. Just type it into a reply box here on the forum and then the spell check will recommend “Lodestar”.

Free republic’s spell check puts lodestar in the list too. It also lists “Pasta”.

The silicon giants intend to put AI in our devices which will auto-correct not merely spelling. So-called ‘hate speech’ and all the ‘isms’ and ‘phobias’ will also be ‘auto-corrected’. That would include sexism, racism, transphobia, islamophobia, pedovore-phobia, and the list goes on.

The system is largely in place in China already. Repeated attempts to violate speech codes results in loss of privileges, such as the privilege of retaining valuable internal organs.
