Kavanaugh declines answering questions about Trump comments
Every day this week, dozens of protesters on Capitol Hill were arrested, as hundreds more flooded the halls of the U.S. Senate and nearby grounds around congressional buildings.
Their objective was clear: To express deep opposition to and concern about President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
ABC News spoke to several of the protesters including many who flew across the country for the demonstrations in the nation’s capital.
The activists ranged in age and ethnicity. Many were women and connected to health, reproductive rights or environmental groups.
Some were brought by groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America to tell their personal stories.
These organizations say Kavanaugh’s prior, socially conservative decisions -– as well as the blessing he has received from staunchly anti-abortion organizations -- show that if confirmed to the highest court, he would likely use that post to restrict women’s access to abortions or overturn landmark cases that make abortion legal in the U.S.
And, that "can't happen," Susan Johnston told ABC News.

” The 73-year-old Johnston recounted her personal experience with an unexpected pregnancy 56 years ago, before abortions were legal.
“It was also before the pill was invented. It was before birth control was legal and women had not much to say about anything,” Johnston, a Maine resident, told ABC News in a telephone interview while she was in Washington, D.C., this week.
She said she and her long-term boyfriend were 18 years old and just starting college. They used a condom, but it failed.
“My mother threw me out. She was so ashamed,” Johnston said. “I thought I ruined everyone’s lives. I thought, ‘I’m just going to kill myself.’”

Her mom threw her out not because she was pregnant although that was bad because that says “the baby is the problem” (had she been a boy who got a girl pregnant, no she would have not been tossed out) her parents threw her out because she had sex out of wedlock and she was a WHORE! Having a daughter who was a whore was shameful. Other parents might have sent her away to a convent or Aunt Helen’s to live for a while where she would have given birth in secret and given the child up for adoption. Maybe some parents would have encouraged the girl to marry the boy. It depends on the girl’s parents.
Now had her parents had a son who got a girl pregnant they would have been trying to figuring out what to do. Tell their son to marry her? Tell the girl to give the baby up? Accuse the girl of trying to trap their son into marrying him because she got pregnant. Again it depends on the parents at that time and place.
Point is people have forgotten that being pregnant out of wedlock used to be very shameful, and unless in the case of rape it should be.

They don’t mind bragging about an operation to kill a baby but, they will deny they had plastic surgery, boob implants or dental work done....

As I watched the Gorsuch hearings and the more recent Kavanaugh “circus”, I was again struck by the advanced age of most of those “senior” members inhabiting the center of that long rostrum. Several of the octogenarians have been in their offices over 40 years. Because the voters of their respective states – or in the case of the House, their districts – chose to re-elect them, they have every right to be there.
But as I surveyed the RIGHT side of that long bench (the Democrat peanut gallery), I noted the relative youth of those members.
Which leads me to this observation: Many of us who have complained that these positions were never intended by the Founders to be lifetime gigs and that “fresh blood” and “new ideas” might bring new solutions to the new problems of the 21st century.
Then it hit me like a ton of bricks: Given that the Cultural Marxists who largely control the American educational system from pre-school to post-graduate degrees have had an additional 50 years to intensify their indoctrination of those younger citizens who might challenge and defeat these “old-timers”, the “new ideas” this “new blood” might bring with them will be rooted in the same Marxist ideology with which they have been indoctrinated and that has historically ALWAYS morphed into Maoist/Stalinist style TYRANNY.
It was then that I muttered “WE’RE SCREWED”.
That said, there MAY be a way to save this unique IDEA called “America”. That’s for good people who still believe in that IDEA to retake control of the educational system and institutions here.

When was the last time - if ever - that you attended a Tea Party meeting and mixed it up with a fat, bozo SEIU thug? Or an antifa snowflake? What you think they morph into is a whole lot different than their capability to carry out any manner of “TRANNY.”
