I have no opinion on that. I never heard of either Dreamcatcher or Microchip before the OAN video.
I've done some research on Microchip, who, it turns out is pretty well known by that pseudonym, and I have seem speculation about who he is IRL - some of which fits with the Air Force One photos that Q posted.
I haven't even seen any speculation about who Dreamcatcher is.
I have thought that having Dreamcatcher come out and verify Microchip's story would be a big boost to its credibility, so I'm waiting to see if that happens.

Q posted of McCain being punished, “Every dog has his day,” and that McCain would be in the news in a month - 30 days to the exact minute listed as his official time of death on his death certificate - on National Dog Day.
Explain how microchip knew that so far in advance, and you have my attention.
Or how he got a picture Trump uploaded to twitter to get the random filename, “DoitQ.jpg.” Or how Microchip got a Fire Engine holding up the flags at an official Presidential event to have the ID number Q76, right after Q’s 76th post, when fire engines never have letters in their ID numbers. Or how Microchip got Trump to tweet, in minutes, a tweet with the words wonderful and day in it after people asked Q to make it happen.
Until then, any idiot can claim stuff like this. Obviously discord logs can be faked (https://www.reddit.com/r/greatawakening/comments/9dum8q/microchip_microfake_you_can_change_any_chats_on/), but nobody can make what Q has posted happen, unless there is something really interesting there.
Nobody has to be certain about Q. I have no idea what it is. But trying to distract people away from it is just silly.

That's funny. At one point I posted some Vox Day stuff on the Qanon thread and was called names and accused of all sorts of horrible things for reading Vox Day. Now here's one of my main fans coming onto this thread to quote Vox Day at me. How the worm turns, eh?
Anyway VD, whose work I do enjoy, especially the comic books says he "knows" Microchip from arguing with him on Twitter. From this Vox believes he can analyze his writing style and knows he's not Q.

He just completed an online fundraising program a lot of cash to fund the work on his next comic-book "Alt-Hero: Q". You may remember I posted some frames from it and reported the start of the fundraising on your Qanon thread. The usual suspects gave me crap for that, too. Even though it was merely an amusing Q related event.
Anyway, as the traders say: "He's selling his book". In his case, litterally!
Per this page (which is quite amusing, you should check it out) - he's at $65,937 USD raised by 866 backers.

Microchip does not claim he is the current Q, only the he (and Dreamcatcher) were the original Q, and that he stepped out of the project in mid November (presumably Dreamcatcher sayed with it, and others got involved).
At some point the admins on 8chan took control, and he suspects (but doesn't claim to know for sure) that it's still Pamphlet Anon and Barauch the Scribe. (See Post #1 above for details).
So much you are past Q post #100 Microchip isn't claiming to be involved in the project any further.
It's pretty easy to predict that McCain was going to die soon around the time he did. He had terminal brain cancer. We all knew that. Assuming Q is Q: how did he know the time and date of McCain's death? (It's usually said only God knows such things, unless you are setting up a hit). How do you propose that Q controls the time of death on a death certificate? He's in control of the medical examiner for Phoenix?
Other stuff --- Q is the third rarest letter in English language words, occurring in only .11 percent of words (vs. 12% for "E") but when you go to randomly generated stuff it goes up to being just as frequent as every other letter.
Once I say "you are going to see a lot of bright green cars" you start seeing bright green cars. Wow, there are more of them out there!
There might be "something really interesting there" and maybe someone is "making things happen". So far we lack the definative proof points.
The microchip-microflake thing has been debunked itself. Microchip challenged someone to duplicate what he did (seeing as it's so easy) and no one has.
Until a better debunking arrives I an tentatively accepting his versions of events on the early days of Q. As new evidence is presented I may change my opinion.
As others have suggested, perhaps early Q and later Q are not directly connected. As I showed in post #1 there were over a dozen different IDs contributing to the first 100 Q posts. Could be several people glommed onto Microchips meme and ran with it. That's what happens on Twitter and the chans, and in fact that's exactly the kind of thing that Microchip prides himself on creating. (Read the article about him linked in post #29.

If I am going to spend time reading, I’ll go jump down a few rabblt holes following the Q posts being worked out.
I actually learn something that way and come away with a better understanding of things, than had I wasted that same time speculating about who Q is.

A lot of Q stuff is rhetorical questions, which has the advantage of giving people assignments, and is sort of interesting. But it's guys like Sundance, powered by Nunes, Judicial Watch, and other Congressional investigators, and the Office of the Inspector General that have found out everything of value.
Not Q. Which is why Q occassionally sites them, but they never site Q. Now Q can sit back and pretend that he's led everyone to these thiings, vis has crumbs, but the truth is the OIG does interviews, Nunes does interviews, both are putting people under oath, and that, not Q is the source of almsot everything we know about the attempted Deep State Couip (again, in my opinion, obviously there is some subjectivity in this.
I think Q has broght to the front the issues of widespread child molesting by organized groups, which has nicely coincided with Sessions leading a crack down on pimps and kiddie porno perverts. (I *do* Trust Sessions on that stuff, he's done a great job on that, and MS-13 too).
The Overton window has been moved on Free Republic (particularly on your Qanon thread) but for even right-of-center or swing voters: not so much.
I really have been trying to completely avoid CNN and MSNBC, it's probably been a month since I watched Meet the Press, but I video tape it. They were still spewing crap about collusion a month or two ago, the last time I watched.
They are shameless, though, it will never end.
OK, I'll take your point about Mueller and tentatively agree, for now. As you know I have kept very careful track of his prosecutions, and he has not delivered a solid punch to Trump yet. The Cohen guilty plea was like four of five jabs to the face at the start of a boxing match. No big deal to an experienced fighter, just feeling out the opponent.
Let's see where we are in Feb of 2019, after the election and the new Congress. My take is Mueller's real job has always been to be the evidence gathering team for the planned impeachment of Trump, scheduled to being in Jan 2019, right after the new Congress is sworn in.
I assume that as a rational man of honor you will admit that "the plan" isn't working so great if the Dems win the House, and Mueller files some sort of charge or report that helps move the impeachment forward.
If there is an entire secret army of White Hats armed with 40,000 sealed indictments they might notice that the GOP is not looking like they are clearly going to win in November, and now would be a good time to prevent the Dem sweep that will doom Trump to impeachment.
So, lets wait and see.
