I believe that knowing your mom and dad (if he is in the picture, still) are pro-abortion affects a youngsters thinking. It sets into motion that they, the child, was really, very disposable. When that thought enters a child’s head, it changes them and usually not for the good. Even is mom (or dad) become pro-life, having to explain to children what their prior beliefs are can be devastating to the child/children.
Are your parents Pro-Choice? I guess you got lucky!
My mother told me she tried to abort me by getting really drunk and taking a hot bath. When that didn’t work she tried suicide. I don’t think the bitch ever forgave me for being born.
I was 12 years old when Roe v. Wade came to be. :(
I remember my Mom SOBBING when she heard the news that abortions were no longer illegal and it was going to be a free-for-all from 1972, forward.
She held me close, explained to me what this meant, and gave me, ‘The Talk.’ It was a little ahead of schedule, but I’ll NEVER forget it. She explained to me that when I was older and if I was NOT married and I was pregnant that she and I would raise that baby ourselves. Fortunately, I never had to put her to that test. ;)
I will also never forget how she had me sit down in front of the TV for JFK’s funeral and told me, ‘You NEED to remember this.’ (I was 4 at the time.)
Was she being a CRUEL Mom for letting me know, in words I could understand at the time, how IMPORTANT both History and the Sanctity of LIFE are? (She and Dad were rock-ribbed Republicans, but they loved JFK.)
Moms are SO important. I cannot believe the number of women that take Our Most Important God-Given Role In Life for granted!
Quite a choice - a human life or a trip to Europe - never end up in a foxhole with one of these zombies.......
