Survivor: David vs. Goliath is the thirty-seventh season of Survivor (for those unfamiliar with the show, there are two seasons each year). It begins Wednesday, September 26, 2018 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
The players range in age from 19 to 56. There are seven from California (all from Southern California), three each from Florida and Texas, two from New York, and one each from Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, and North Carolina.
The David tribe consists of "those who have scratched and clawed their way through life to prove themselves." The Goliath tribe consists of "those who come from a place of privilege."

Actor Tom Arnold and reality producer Mark Burnett got into a physical altercation at a pre-Emmys party Sunday night, according to multiple reports in the trades and across social media.
The duo were entering the Evening Before the Emmys event in West Los Angeles when Arnold ran into Burnett. Which man started the confrontation is unclear, with both sides claiming the other party was the aggressor.
Arnold accused Burnett on Twitter of going “apes–t” and “choked me at this huge Emmy party.” ...

Will the 26th ever get here?
On Survivor Australia one of those cyclones flooded out and destroyed the Tribal Council are. I have been watching that version too. Just finished episode 18 this week.
And the 26th has finally arrived.

Only 39 days for these chaps while Survivor Australia goes for 50 days and prize money is just $500,000 there. 20 episodes have aired so far for that version and they are down to the final 6.
There always appears to be a number of contestants seem like they’ve never watched 1 episode of Survivor.
Showmance, running off to hunt for idols and being noticed, sandbagging around camp and getting noticed.
Last night showed just how aware a contestant needs to be at all times. Riding in rough seas in a bouncing boat is not the time to be sitting with your back straight. I think he either smashed a disk or pinched a nerve. Wonder if he had an old back injury that was forced back because of the boat ride.
