Good luck with that. Monday is the day most business people fly out. They are in a big hurry, and they don’t have time, nor the mood, to fiddle (monkey) around with this nonsense.
~85% of O’hare employees are black; if they decided to stage a revolt, things would grind to a halt, but I don’t think they’d go with it; some of them are surly, but most are just trying to do their jobs.

All valid complaints no doubt. But blocking access to the airport on one of the busiest travel days of the year is, shall we say, counter-productive.

What these people need can't be given to them. There is no amount of money or "po'grums" that will help them. All that has been tried.

At this point what they need can only come from themselves. One person deciding that he is going to get sober. One mother that turns off the TV and disciplines her children. Someone who gets up in the morning and finds a job and keeps it. Someone with courage to drop a dime on a drug dealer. Simple things happening one step at a time.

Great timing. I’m on the road at the moment and will be returning home on Monday and I’m thanking my luck that I’m not routed through O’Hare. Ground transportation issues shouldn’t affect transfers but messing up the airport with a jam of stuck local passengers will. The media will blame Trump.
