Thought a lot about John McCains funeral and here are my observations.
The McCain family loathes President Trump and Meghan McCains eulogy incorporated that sentiment. She was emotional in remembering her father so we should all respect her thoughts even if we disagree.
George W. Bush also is not a fan of Trumps but his remarks had no malice.
Barack Obama gave the most political address. A brilliant orator, the former President can be disingenuous. His assessment that the American press is independent is astonishing. Mr. Obama basically received lap dog coverage and STILL had no use for the scribes. If he ever tasted what Donald Trump has been served, it would have been quite the spectacle.
Rest In Peace, John McCain. A patriot.

Bill....when’s your new book...”Killing McCain”...coming out?
Thank God that blowhard idiot is off TV.
“detested the abuse of power and could not abide bigots and swaggering despots.
I’m guessing this all depends on your definition of those words which depends on what power you yourself have been given and what agenda you have as a “person allowed power.” It’s a long way from D. C. to Main St USA. It’s kind of like the difference between Riches and Rags.
I was outraged at the “brilliant orator” part. I couldn’t stand to listen to him, nor watch him give a speech. It was like a tennis match was going on in front of him. Hubby used to comment: “Look at teleprompter to the right, look at teleprompter at center, look at teleprompter to the left” -— and you could just keep repeating that thru the entire speech.
Who the f*** cares what Bill O’Reilly thinks?!
bump
That’s it? How much was Fox paying him?
Obama IS a smooth con man. Very smooth. Screws up from time-to-time but the reprobate liberals can’t figure it out. He is the equivalent of a Nigerian Scam Artist.
Only one living President attended Billy Graham’s funeral and memorial service. It was President Trump. What does that say about these sanctimonious political creatures? It tells you where the swamp’s heart is - politics before God. — MARK SIMONE
The Swamp needs an exorcism.
