Thought a lot about John McCains funeral and here are my observations.
The McCain family loathes President Trump and Meghan McCains eulogy incorporated that sentiment. She was emotional in remembering her father so we should all respect her thoughts even if we disagree.
George W. Bush also is not a fan of Trumps but his remarks had no malice.
Barack Obama gave the most political address. A brilliant orator, the former President can be disingenuous. His assessment that the American press is independent is astonishing. Mr. Obama basically received lap dog coverage and STILL had no use for the scribes. If he ever tasted what Donald Trump has been served, it would have been quite the spectacle.
Rest In Peace, John McCain. A patriot.

Bush who defeated McCain in the 2000 Republican presidential primary said that the Arizona senator detested the abuse of power and could not abide bigots and swaggering despots.
He respected the dignity inherent in every life, a dignity that does not stop at borders and cannot be erased by dictators, Bush continued.

[Barack Obama gave the most political address. A brilliant orator, the former President can be disingenuous]
can be? Can Be? CAN BE???????????
“Look at me, I’m Bill O’Reilly.”

“Barack Obama gave the most political address. A brilliant orator, the former President can be disingenuous.”
Brilliant? Only to the weak minded. So there you go Bill.
Didn’t the Dems Politicize a Funeral a couple of years ago and Didn’t it BACKFIRE?
De Brown Kenyan Klown sh*t out his mouf.
Bill O’Reilly? Didn’t he used to have a...
Oh, nevermind.
F off, Bill. The guy was the Constitutional definition of a traitor. If the world had any justice, we would’ve been spared decades of him ruining the world.
Wellstone funeral, 2002.
In that case, it also tended to be a personal invite funeral. After the funeral, a number of folks who attended, and those who watched via PBS within the state...were infuriated at the political tone and the Governor (Jesse Ventura at the time) did get up and walk out. Based on the one clip I’ve seen of it, it would be best described as a scripted ‘pep-rally’.
I tend to think that you will see more and more of these...eventually even friends and neighbors of yours, who pass on, and their kids use the moment to go anti-Trump or enforce some invite-only situation (even at the local level). Even some folks who are Democrats...are fed up with the childish behavior being shown.
Hey Bill, have a falafel and STFU.
I would describe the Obamas treatment by the press as more Lap Dance than Lap Dog.
I can’t stand smug Bill, but he is totally wrong that we must respect Mregan’s statements. Maybe respect her right to say them, but certainly not anything she said. She is wrong about Trump and deluded about her corrupt, warmongering Dad.
The last thing we need is an embittered Cindy taking his Senate seat. Trump will already have a nipping ankle biter from Utah.
I don't understand Mr. O'Reilly's implication that Obama "has no use" for the (biased) media.
By calling them "independent," he was rewarding them - by lying.
Regards,
“Look at me, I’m Bill O’ Reilly’’. Yeah. I used to be big ya know! Why I used to run this town, see? Yeah. Big shot I was. Yeah. Hey buddy , got a dime? How’s about a cigarette?
The President who used "me", "I", and "uh" more than all other words combined. Couldn't stand to listen to Obama talk simply because he couldn't put a phrase together coherently. And yet they continue to tout Obama as a "brilliant" orator. Will this never end???
