Facebook is at risk of losing 32% of its conservative users due to concerns the social media giant is censoring its content, a new national omnibus survey by McLaughlin & Associates reveals.
Sponsored by the Media Research Center (MRC), the national survey of conservatives who are likely voters, conducted August 22-27, 2018, shows that 89.5% of conservatives have used Facebook at some point and that less than half (47.7%) are both using it and committed to continuing to do so:
Of conservatives who have used Facebook, 32.3% say they have either left (7.5%), or are considering leaving (24.8%), Facebook due to its censorship of conservative views.
Whats more, nearly two-thirds (66.9%) of conservative likely voters have less trust in Facebook than they did a year ago. Likewise, nearly two-thirds (66.1%) do not trust Facebook to treat all political views equally and 64.6% believe sites like Facebook are intentionally censoring conservatives and conservative ideas.

Abandon Fecebook.
Every log in provides more money that is used against US.
Facebook will be the next MySpace
32% is a big deal

It’s only 32% of conservative users-——that would probably be a small amount.
.
The only time I go on Facebook now is to check on the neighborhood page to find out whats going on, only once every couple of weeks.
If someone would create an alternate to Facebook that did not censor conservatives, I would definitely use it. Someone needs to create one.
I have never touched Facebook. I do not know why any conservative would go anywhere near it. I have told my family members that if they make any announcements or any invitations of Facebook I will not here it or attend it.
Stay away from Google too! Use Duckduckgo or Bing. Google is not needed.

Won’t sell your data
works pretty much like facebook
freerepublic already has a presence there
I understand that
No business wants to lose 32% of any customer base, it is bad for business, because 32% turns into 50% then into 76% then into 99%. And other users will leave as well cause all of their friends move on to a different site that doesn’t act like a bunch of spoiled brat DAZIs.
Snowball effect
Facebook has already got an internal insurrection going on regarding its censorship. And now the SEC and FTC may start asking questions whether Facebook’s policies violate US securities laws....
I am long gone from it and encourage everyone that mentions the name to me to do the same. That goes for twitter and the rest of the social media.
I’m surprised that it might be that large. Most people are apolitical and they love to gossip and share pictures with friends and family. They are addicted to Facebook and won’t abandon it.
As much as I hate Facebook right now, the worst thing would be for conservatives to abandon it. The independents need to see both sides.
I must be doing something wrong. Bing gives me terrible search results.
Another underestimated phony poll.
We don’t owe FB anything. If all conservatives left it, it’d head to the same hell that Myspace occupies.
It’s 32% of 30ish% (self identified conservatives). And that’s only 30% really of the American users. You’re probably talking less than 1% of total users. Basically rounding error.
