This morning, I checked out three local stations. ABC, CBS, Fox. All three local stations LEAD with the Democrat LIE about Ron DeSantis and from what I saw NONE of them carried the full quote.
As soon as DeSantis says "monkey this up", the sentence is cut off and the liberal media outrage ensues.
Unbelievable.

I read the full statement by DeSantis. Although it’s not possible to prove it, it looks to me like he was simply using an ordinary figure of speech to describe the problems with socialism, and not an intentional racial insult about his opponent. Regarding the people that are upset about what he said, it seems to demonstrate a racist state of mind, that these persons would automatically associate the word ‘monkey’ with a black person. The persons doing this are actually helping perpetuate insults that go back to the days of slavery...not good.

Fox News host Sandra Smith said Wednesday that the network did not condone Rep. Ron DeSantis's (R) language when he warned voters not to "monkey this up" by voting for his Democratic gubernatorial opponent Andrew Gillum.
“A little while ago, we had Ron DeSantis, the Republican nominee for governor in Florida on for an interview to discuss the Florida election,” Smith said on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom” before reading a statement from DeSantis's campaign clarifying his earlier remarks.

Culteral Marxism is rearing its ugly head. The Dems are using the metaphorical phrase, “monkey this up,” to come up with a false interpretation of the metaphor. DeSantis’ use is from the same metaphor, “monkey business” or “monkeying around with it.” Such denotes foolish behavior.
The metaphore “monkey” in reference to blacks is a totally different use of the metaphor. It is used in such phrases as, “They run like monkeys.” It is not a metaphor to denote bad behavior. It is a metaphor to denote a racial characteristic; especially one of inferiority. The inferior reference of monkey began with the Social Darwinist and eugenics intellectuals of the early 20th century. It was then that African people were commonly thought of as talking monkeys by many eugenicists worldwide. Always, the word monkey was a term to denote the genetic inferiority of the blacks. This pseudo science was adapted by the Hitler’s Nazi regime to justify the extermination of Jews and by the oppression of blacks in the South with their Jim Crow laws. The theories of Darwin unleashed a multitude of crimes against humanity.
