A disgruntled bride-to-be has revealed she was forced to cancel her extravagant 'fairytale' wedding after her guests refused to pay $CAD 1,500 each to attend.
The Canadian bride, who is known only as 'Susan', was due to tie the knot with her childhood sweetheart in a lavish $CAD 60,000 ($46,020) wedding.
But the couple decided to call off the ceremony just four days before exchanging their vows after they struggled to foot the bill.
Taking to Facebook to explain their decision, the furious mother-of-one blamed her family and friends for the breakdown of her relationship as she vented her frustration in a lengthy post.

Lucky man!
Welcome to the real world.
The quicker you learn that you are owed NOTHING in life, the better life will treat you.
Me pay for the wedding? There’d better be more than ogling the bridesmaids involved at that price. And the champagne and caviar need to float down my throat like a Spring rain.
I doubt our wedding cost more than $50 and that includes the license. Good investment, will have been married 50 years in 2020.
I can’t help thinking that the more spent on the wedding the less likely it will succeed.
Canada has snowflakes too! Who knew?
The now ex-bf said they could have a LV wedding. The Bridezilla was so offended by the idea she dumped him, the father if her child.
Women want to get married, men want to be married.
Her exs family offered up $3,000. Sounds like they were happy to get rid of her.
She should have started a go fund me page years ago...
Wow... what a piece of work..
A bargain payment to get rid of this bitch for good and off alimony payments!
I think the story is fiction.
I’ve noted that on other forums, those who are calling this an obvious hoax are being down voted, because it is a story that people *want* to believe. Which in itself is a good indicator that it is a hoax.
We had 11 people at our wedding including the Pastor. Put the $$ we saved into a honeymoon Caribbean cruise. Never understood the whole go for broke mega wedding thing..... But that’s just me.
Justice of the peace is around $50 I think.
It wasn't quite a last minute call from the governor when you are strapped to the chair, but it was pretty darn close.
Ditto here. When my wife and I were married in ‘94, we did the Vegas package for less than $1,000, including flight from the Midwest, lodging, meals and the ceremony. It was just the two of us and we had a wonderful time. The family threw a reception for us when we returned.
I can’t bother reading all the social media garbage, but sure seems like a psychotic break, or other mental issue, because everyone is surprised she’s acting this way despite knowing her for years.
