Since he wasn't invited to McCain's funeral he did send a letter approving of it.

With thanks to Mark Twain who wrote:"I Did Not Attend the Funeral, But I Sent a Nice Letter Saying I Approved of It"

Yes, Cavuto is unwatchable, so full of himself.

Ordering the flag to half mast was pretty routine for obama
Flag code? Don’t need no steekin’ flag code

My lib friends on Facebook have also pointed this out. And one of them even mentioned me in a comment sending condolences for having lost such an hero/honorable senator. She is from Philly and loves McCain and is a democrat.

I bit my tongue and did not respond.

As they should be. McCain kicked his party and his President in the teeth repeatedly being the small bitter petty SOB that he was. No reason to mourn his passing for more than a day or two (officially).

Frankly the more bird-flipping at the now room temperature McCain, the better I like it.

Because McCain didn’t like Trump and vice versa we are being led to believe that his death is akin to that of Abraham Lincoln. A time for national mourning where we all must fly our flags at half mast, wear black, and weep uncontrollably.

The flags are at half mast here so often that we have no clue why. The most recent was either for an old former legislator or Mollie Tibbets. I said they should just leave them at half mast to save themselves some effort.

I thought it was “YUGE” manatee. Any ways you cut it Trump would be in hot water with “them” if he kept it lowered for 364 days instead of 365 days. I really don’t like these assclowns.

Yep, on the "off" days when it's not dome national figure just attribute the half mast flag to someone killed that day in Chicago.

An the fact that he miscolored the American flag with some gradeschoolers.
OMG!

Of course.

Ostentatious official mourning for a government figure is un-American, in my opinion. Whatever expressions of personal sadness people want to make are their business, but the government's acknowledgement of the event can be brief and pro-forma.

“… [T]o persevere in obstinate condolement is a course of impious stubbornness. ’Tis unmanly grief. It shows a will most incorrect to heaven, a heart unfortified, a mind impatient, an understanding simple and unschooled.”

Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 2; King Claudius to Hamlet
Of course, we are herein witnessing the reaction of those that say Shakespeare is exemplary of “white supremacy” or suchlike.

“I had to turn off Fox News because it was making me sick”

This brought back traumatic childhood memories when we only had one channel and the Billy Graham Crusades would come on for an eternity it seemed. Thankfully with satellite TV I got lotsa other channels now.
