A document detailing what Democrats intend to do to try to take out President Donald Trump should they take the House majority in November 2018 has emerged.“Congressional Republicans are getting ready for hell. Axios has obtained a spreadsheet that’s circulated through Republican circles on and off Capitol Hill — including at least one leadership office — that meticulously previews the investigations Democrats will likely launch if they flip the House,” Swan writes.
Swan then lists some of the more than 100 items contained in the lengthy GOP document. Here is a direct quote of the bullet point list from Swan’s piece in Axios:
President Trump’s tax returns; Trump family businesses — and whether they comply with the Constitution’s emoluments clause, including the Chinese trademark grant to the Trump Organization; Trump’s dealings with Russia, including the president’s preparation for his meeting with Vladimir Putin; The payment to Stephanie Clifford — a.k.a. Stormy Daniels; James Comey’s firing; Trump’s firing of U.S. attorneys' Trump’s proposed transgender ban for the military; Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s business dealings; White House staff’s personal email use; Cabinet secretary travel, office expenses, and other misused perks; Discussion of classified information at Mar-a-Lago; Jared Kushner’s ethics law compliance; Dismissal of members of the EPA board of scientific counselors; The travel ban; Family separation policy; Hurricane response in Puerto Rico; Election security and hacking attempts; White House security clearances.

This Axios list is hooey. I couldn’t find a single item on it that any conservative would give a dang about. Otherwise, it is just wishful thinking on the part of leftists.

Concur. However, they are capable of wasting our finite resources inflicting frivolous legal attacks on our President in order to prevent him from following his agenda. The Russian collusion, Stormy what’s her name; both nonsensical trash issues that sensible people neither believe and/nor care about. Each non-issue detracts from the energy and resources that this admin could better apply toward improving the economic and social issues which have plagued our country. I’m not even including international relations in this. The leftists are extremely counterproductive and must be hamstrung.

In short, what the Democrats plan is not truly serious investigations worthy of Congress’ time and effort, but merely a total obstruction compaign to tie up all of the Trump administrations time answering all the investigations.
Note to Trump: 1. Have every cabinet officer appoint an individual to a “Deputy for Congressional Investigations” position, as the only point person each department will supply to Congress for its investigations, each in due time with the time that one individual has. 2. Tell the departments to respond as timely as the FBI and DOJ have been responding to Congress now; in other words, delay and stonewall everything and if it is not yet “classified” make it, everything, “classified”.
I think it’s all bluster. 97% chance RATS will not take house in Nov, IMHO.
Those thousands of sealed indictments need to come out very soon.
And...? They have no chance of taking the House and they will have less power after this election than they will have since 1930.
