You would have to be hiding under a rock to miss this video this week. But if somehow didn’t catch it, here it is.
The video was filmed during a whale watching excursion in Gustavus, Alaska. The guests sure got what they paid for. I’m glad they come away just a little wet and with a great story to tell.

Saw this happen to a pair of kayakers off the coast of Alaska, by an orca. It deliberately breached by them and soaked them, never was aggressive, just playing with them.

I think it was a team effort. You saw the whale further out that caught everybody’s attention? That was the set up. As everyone was turned in that direction, cameras up...the second upclose whale swooped in for the “kill”.
Absolutely perfect.

Yes. My ex boyfriend and I made a terrible mistake once and decided to go for a VFR landing of his single engine Mooney in IFR conditions. When we finally got on the ground we erupted into hysterical laughter. Could not stop laughing.

LMAO I made a similar mistake in a borrowed Cessna Skymaster and was lucky to make to a PA in Bonny Doon CA. Civil aviation can be scary AF 😀
