Isn’t it odd that ALL major ancient civilizations had pyramids even though most had no contact with each other? Maybe the guy with the weird hair is on to something.

“archaeologists have unearthed an ancient city complete with ...decapitated heads”
I had no idea Islam dated back that far.

Not really odd. How else are you going to build a tall structure with stone and only limited engineering concepts?

when building a tall structure out of stone, the pyramid is the most stable shape.

The question is, why aren't *we* building 'em?!? ;^)

Won’t repeat the post anywhere. Will not support a website that has to use the “f - word” to describe itself.

Yes and no.
The pyramid shape is the easiest to use to build a large building.
So it is like looking at houses and saying that all the ones that are built in a round shape must have had contact with each other where as the ones built in a rectangle must have come from someplace else.

Ancient Chinese secret, huh?
To: SunkenCiv
Where is the city? The only thing I saw in the article concerning its location is that it’s near the Great Wall, so it’s somewhere in northern China. At a minimum, I would like to know what province it is in. If it’s in Henan or Shaanxi, the builders were probably the ancestors of today’s Chinese. If it’s anywhere else, the builders could be anybody.
