He has said this before. By the reaction the Progs either don’t believe he will or there is no there there.

At 6:00 in the video, Trump says he thinks he has to release the docs.

All of the states. The President only has pardon power over convictions in federal courts for federal crimes.

Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution states as follows:
The President…shall have the power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States.
As I said, the President’s power of pardon only applies to offenses against the United States as a whole not to offenses against an individual state or locality.

The phrase "offenses against the United States" means federal crimes, as opposed to offenses against the several states.
At the time the Constitution was adopted, the "United States" was a plural noun. It took Lincoln and the Civil War to convert it to a singular noun. With many good effects and some bad effects.
The AG can appoint a SC. The AG works for the POTUS. The POTUS can instruct his AG to appoint a SC.

Not, “I will”. But “I think I might”.
“Might” is optional. No commitment there.
“I think”. He may think something else tomorrow.
As usual, Trump is just negotiating. He is just floating a trial balloon to see how it plays on both sides of the fence It doesn’t mean spit. It is a Trumpism.
For a Freeper to hear that quot and then post a unequivocal, declarative statement that Trump will “declassify all documents” is misleading at best and a bald faced lie at worst. I will chalk it up to an over exuberant Freeper and assume he wasn’t trying to be a sensationalist who’s ego wanted him to be breaking big news.
I missed a third disqualifier in the short quote.
What does “at the right time” mean. Trump could mean, he will declassify documents only after Congress brings him up on impeachment. And if that never happens, then he won’t.
