Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a rare statement Thursday said that the Justice Department “will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.”
In one of his toughest statements following criticism from President Trump, Sessions defended his leadership of the Justice Department, which has come under increasing attack from the president and his allies....
“While I am Attorney General, the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations. I demand the highest standards, and where they are not met, I take action,” Sessions said in a direct response to Trump's interview on Fox.
“However, no nation has a more talented, more dedicated group of law enforcement investigators and prosecutors than the United States," Sessions said.

I don’t believe that President Trump is not firing Sessions because the House threatened impeachment.
Either Sessions is actually doing the job Trump wants him to do, or JS will reveal a lot of career-ending dirt on Republicans will find its way into the front page of the NYTimes, thus throwing the mid terms to the Dems.
Anyone who cares about the country like this President does (or any of us) would not hesitate to get rid of this guy.

Has anyone associated with Democrat legislators been charged with any crimes? It seems to me that some have overwhelming evidence against them.
Sessions did not get the memo he is useless and cannot uphold the law and needs to resign. Holder would have long resigned out the way of Obama. So why is Sessions still in session? Does he want to sit there to impeach his boss ?
Mueller should have long been impeached for what he did in terms of treason.
