Cohen: Trump told me to pay off women to influence the election
President Trumps personal fixer Michael Cohen admitted in court Tuesday that he paid two women hush money at direction of the candidate, a clear reference to Trump to influence the 2016 presidential election.
Trumps name was not uttered but the implication was clear as Cohen admitted he cut a $150,000 check in 2016 to protect the candidate.
On or about summer 2016, in coordination and with and at the behest of the candidate, I and the CEO of a media company worked together to keep an individual with information that would be harmful to the candidate from publicly disclosing this information
under which she received compensation of $150,000, Cohen said in Manhattan federal court.

True. One thing really driving the left crazy is all the poop they are throwing at Trump is not sticking because average people just don’t care. I read an article that tracked polls when various attacks by media have happened. Their polls showed no change, the only group that got excited was those that had already stated they were not voting for Trump. Trump supporters and those that were unsure just didn’t care about all the mud slung on him.
Hold the line.
The women were paid off to keep quiet...They took the money and agreed...Sounds like a legal transaction to me...
Yeah, I've started rethinking Bubba, and Tricky, too.
How can you say that? We all know that Stormy Daniels voted for Trump in at least 5 different precincts, right?

Id say there is a lot of “collusion” between the 2 parties...
Its a better kept secret than “covfefe”
I feel so dirty. We are all Cohen.
So?
He gave a lot of speeches to influence the election too.

If it is it is the most dangerous game that can be played - except maybe Russian roulette. Cohen is going to jail for a while.
“Michaels a good guy and hes getting his hand slapped.”
That may be true(I am holding off on my decision) but he sure isn’t that bright. To get popped on taxi medallion fraud in NYC is just stupid.

That’s why the Democrats laundered their payment through Perkins Couie.
Funny thing is, the FBI to my knowledge did not raid the offices of Perkins Couie as they did Cohen’s. But then, Perkins Couie didn’t have a taxi medallion dispute in NYC that they could use for justification.
GOPe + DNC = Establishment
If you dare try to wrestle power from them you will be crushed.... Ask the Tea Party... They went through this a while back... Same MO... use the government apparatus to destroy those that dare try.
I realized early on in my divorce process that, at best, an attorney is an agent of the court. I had to learn divorce law better than my attorney, and then push the attorney to get the results I wanted.
They do not work for you. They represent you, but unless they are your direct employee (e.g., corporate counsel), they will adhere to principles that are not necessarily in your best interest.
That is an excellent point. Wish I thought of it.
Cohen is also on record saying Trump was not aware of the payment. So there is one thing we know for sure. Cohen is a liar.
The Tea Party was destroyed early on by commercial interests (e.g., Tea Party Express) who dumbed down the movement into a complaint about taxes.
“Congress had Tax payer funded slush funds for paying of sexual abuse claims”
And as far as we know, they still do. And whatever happened to that issue? All names and amounts were supposed to have released, and then ... silence. How do we get that back into the limelight? That might go a long was toward helping PDJT in his swamp draining draining efforts.
In fact, this might be the ideal time to see that this is dealt with, as I’m sure many whose names are on the list are screaming loudest about Trump.
