Cohen: Trump told me to pay off women to influence the election
President Trump’s personal fixer Michael Cohen admitted in court Tuesday that he paid two women hush money — “at direction of the candidate,” a clear reference to Trump — to influence the 2016 presidential election.
Trump’s name was not uttered but the implication was clear as Cohen admitted he cut a $150,000 check in 2016 to protect “the candidate.”
“On or about summer 2016, in coordination and with and at the behest of the candidate, I and the CEO of a media company worked together to keep an individual with information that would be harmful to the candidate from publicly disclosing this information … under which she received compensation of $150,000,” Cohen said in Manhattan federal court.

Ill just throw this out there...Lanny Davis (big in Clinton world) is Cohen’s attorney where Cohen just said he was directed by “a federal election candidate” to pay off these women to influence an election. Why does everyone assume the “candidate” is Trump? Why would Lanny Davis take this case? What do the Clinton’s have in this?

Not convinced. I think Lanny Davis took the case to protect Hillary. I think she was the “candidate” that made the payoffs to have it eventually backfire on Trump...more of a bribe. Davis is doing damage control and helping Cohen get a plea deal on his taxi medallion and fraud charges. Both of which have nothing to do with trump.

Hillary lied about the Benghazi 9-11-2012 terrorist attack being a protest that got out of hand. She emailed her own daughter the truth the same day. So much for national security (Chelsea didn’t have a security clearance for this did she?).
It was entirely to influence the election by suppressing truth before the November 2012 Obama re-election.

What about Harry Reid lying about Mitt Romney’s taxes to influence the election and saying “I won, didn’t I?”

I agree that what Cohen did may not be a violation of the FECA. From what we know, I don’t think it is. It’s really debatable. But, if you assume that it was, the charge against Trump would be a criminal conspiracy to violate the FECA.
I think the deep state is digging its own grave and in its arrogance can’t see the hole has passed 6 feet deep.
Or may not have even had a fling with them. “Go away and don’t bother me money” is frequently paid out by many people and companies. The amounts are even usually determined ahead of time. Below x they write a check and above a certain amount it is time to go to court or whatever the “or else” is.
Knowing this has become common practice due to so many lawsuits, I do not assume someone is guilty because there is a pay off.
