The Italian actress and director Asia Argento was among the first women in the movie business to publicly accuse the producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault. She became a leading figure in the #MeToo movement. Her boyfriend, the culinary television star Anthony Bourdain, eagerly joined the fight.
But in the months that followed her revelations about Mr. Weinstein last October, Ms. Argento quietly arranged to pay $380,000 to her own accuser: Jimmy Bennett, a young actor and rock musician who said she had sexually assaulted him in a California hotel room years earlier, when he was only two months past his 17th birthday. She was 37. The age of consent in California is 18.
That claim and the subsequent arrangement for payments are laid out in documents between lawyers for Ms. Argento and Mr. Bennett, a former child actor who once played her son in a movie.
The documents, which were sent to The New York Times through encrypted email by an unidentified party, include a selfie dated May 9, 2013, of the two lying in bed. As part of the agreement, Mr. Bennett, who is now 22, gave the photograph and its copyright to Ms. Argento, now 42. Three people familiar with the case said the documents were authentic.

The movie industry attracts some very messed up people. I have no reason to doubt that Asia Argento was raped by Harvey Weinstein. I also have no reason to doubt that she committed statutory rape herself, as described in this article, on a boy she had known since his early childhood.

Laugh and joke all you want, but if a grown woman sexually assaults my underage son, she gets her azz beaten as if the genders were flipped.
You do NOT put kids in an a adult situation. One jealous husband/boyfriend being embarrassed at the news of an ex banging a kid puts that kid in a really bad situation.

Let’s remember folks, these people are all actors we are talking about. Which means, they can ‘act’ normal when they need to. The truth is, the majority of them are probably just like Harvey Weinstein, moral deviants.
I’m sure she didn’t want to have sex with Harvey, look at her, look at him. I personally feel the vast majority of them had sex with him to advance their career and now they see coming out against him as advancing their career. Heck, I can imagine this guy now accusing her of assaulting him didn’t mind it either. This might advance his career.
It’s all a den of vipers and I truly do not much care about any of them. It is fun to see these leftis moral purveyors of truth ‘eat their own’ though...
I have to wonder if Anthony Bourdain’s suicide was related to learning of this - perhaps after so vocally supporting Argento in her claims against Weinstein, he learned that she too had used her Hollywood star power to sexually abuse a young boy whom she’d had to pay off - and knew it would only be a matter of time before it blew up in both their faces - and chose suicide instead of that shame.
Crap like this makes me wonder if there are any decent people left in Hollywood or if we would be best off rounding up everybody there and sending them to the gallows or guillotine.
If Asia Argento had sex with me when I was 17 I would have been grateful and undamaged. Sorry but it is true, men are not like women.
Dario Argento made some groundbreaking movies in his day. Too bad his daughter is sullying the brand.
