The official start of summer comes later this month, but already children have died after being left unattended in hot cars, according to the nonprofit National Safety Council, drawing attention to an issue that kills an average of 37 children a year.
The council released a report this month that says 742 US children died of heatstroke in vehicles between 1998 and 2017. Forty-two children died in these conditions in 2017, up from 39 the previous year.
Just 21 states have laws regarding this issue, the report says; eight include the possibility of felony charges for individuals who deliberately leave a child alone.

And be sure to give to charities that feed children who starve in this country. We don’t have any kind of program to feed them after all.

We also need more illegals to rape, murder, and kidnap children to be sex slaves.

Is that a measureble statistics?
And B.rothers O.utraged O.ver B.athtubs [the BO of OB] want to remind people that we should have air bags in every bathtub, along with safety harnesses, ejection seats, surveillance cameras, and a unionized inspection squad.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, between 2006 and 2010 a total of 346 children under age 5 years old drown in bathtubs. Twice as many as hot cars. More than hot cars plus guns combined.
I am for banning hot cars.
And I support making girls’ rooms more adventurous and inclusive. Men who might look female [supposedly] or who feel female should be allowed to prance around in bathrooms front of little girls.
We should have federal funding for an ice allowance issued to every child just in case.
But we should also have ice inspectors who make sure that no ice is left behind — ice might cause little children to slip and fall.
I also propose that slippery kitchen floors should be illegal and that every parent be required to lock his or her kitchen to better control fat little pigs’ diets. Being fat is a disability and far more abusive to children than hot cars.
We should pass a law that all parents have swimming pools for their children to exercize. But if their child is injured by the pool, the parent should go to prison.

It would be safest to ban having children and adopt muslim children.
We should pass a law that all children wear helmets during all waking hours.
Children accidentally stab themselves. Ban knives.
Schools require being on the road. Ban schools. It’s too dangerous to drive them there.
Be subtle in how you do that or you'll get yourself stopped by the police ";^)
You,"Just looking for children that might have been left in a car."
Cop looking skeptical, "Sure you were."
Came out from Lowe's to find a group around my car.
"You've left your dog in there with the windows up."
No one notices that the engine is running and my dog is lounging in airconditioned comfort. I've got a car that allows you to do that but the car cannot be driven.
Still wouldn't leave my grandkids...after all they need to know about construction materials and tools ";^)
