Washington (AFP) - Former CIA directors and another half dozen of America's most senior spies have issued an unprecedented condemnation of President Donald Trump, after his decision to blacklist their colleague John Brennan.
In a statement, ex-CIA bosses appointed by Republican and Democratic presidents -- including Robert Gates, George Tenet, Porter Goss, Leon Panetta and David Petraeus -- denounced Trump's decision to strip Brennan of his security clearance.

Nope. Whoever they go to work for can request, and pay for, a new background check. Roll the dice.
Besides, idiots like Brennan are not "using" their clearance. He's a talking head.
Unless he's been divulging classified information.
You can bet that all of these "formers" are using their access to get very wealthy.
ooh fear reigns! fear that their little money coining machine will be taken from them. bring it, Mr President. drain this miserable swamp.
What? No George H.W. Bush to complete the group??
On the cost factor....I had some security idiot from the late 1990s try to convince me that they spent $20k per each 5-year clearance. I might go and agree on the initial first-time clearance costing this much, but after that point, for each five-year deal....it’s a limited amount of man-hours, and they normally review your financial situation, find some folks who know you, and look at your foreign travel situation. I seriously doubt that they spend more than 40 man-hours for that effort.
In this case, I would question how all these folks continue to perform the 5-year clearance deal when they travel often (outside of the country), and are at think-tanks which have foreign members who you associate with on a daily or weekly basis. I don’t believe they are cooperating with the standard rules that everyone else has to obey to keep the clearance.
I admire David Petraeus’s brilliant studies of counter-insurgency. That’s what he know about.
But it’s just as well that we know who the swamp creatures are.
Yeah. I think everyday, some poor soul is barfing like NEO finding out about The Matrix, knowing for a while that something just isn’t right and then finding out the truth.
I bet survivalist websites are seeing traffic like the usurper obama days. Between what we’re learning about fedgov and a good percentage of the population(antifa/commies) it’s no wonder NICS checks are still going strong.
I believe I heard on Fox News this evening that it costs $25,000 to issue ONE security clearance. Thats one heck of a lot of money!!
Must have gone down in the recent past ... used to be $1 million per or more. Those were the days when the FBI actually interviewed everyone you listed including their neighbors, before Clinton introduced the concept of just making phone calls.
Globalist Deep State operatives all. Not American Patriots.
The last REAL spy and American Patriot to rise to high level in the CIA died about two years ago, and he despised all of these political hacks.
Where is their condemnation of the real creeps?
The activist judgicial tyrants who legislate from the bench and cause things like this????
Man arrested at New Mexico compound was training kids to commit school shootings

[truth behind wimpy headline — Islamic in NM killed 4 year old & trained kids to be school shooters.]
So why not quietly just pull the plug on all of them at once? Or does Trump like the pile on so he can point out the pile on?
Maybe this woman could interview [and reward] them:
CNN Attacks Trump Over Tweet on London Terror Attack, Fails Miserably
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3679257/posts
CNN reporter Jennifer Hansler attacked President Trump today for tweeting about an apparent terror attack in London while the investigation was still underway.
However, CNN itself was reporting the incident as a terrorist attack before Trump tweeted. Further, UK authorities had indeed already announced that they were treating the incident as a terror attack.
[And then Madonna can reward them while wearing a Madonna-hat]
Ex-employees should not have any access to secret defense or other sensitive government information. Secret info is ( or should be!) on a Need to Know basis
You are correct about both. I did security for the State Dept when he was the Commander of MNFI. Very nice guy. Not that we sat down and drank coffee together, but when all you deal with is Ambassador level folks, Congress folks, and other high level folks, who wouldn’t spit on you, when a person like that says, Hello - How are you - Good morning, etc, it shows that they there are other people in the room. And he took very, very good care of his PSD folks.
However, his traitorous behavior going forward and with Benghazi showed that he is neck deep in the swamp. And like you said, it’s nice to know who’s swimming around in there.
Susan Rice, Samantha Power and Hillary Clinton still have them. Why in the world they have them is un-answerable.
“The President should get the list and then cancel the clearances of everyone on it.”
Absolutely! Give the smart asses exactly what they ask for. Let them live with a little shame before their lives on earth are over.
‘Very nice guy.’
I’m not surprised. Petreus had to study a lot about the human mind to understand counter-insurgency. Working in fast food, I learned how shrewd it is to be ‘friendly in passing’ [especially after reading numerous books about human relations, etc].
Sure helps you get along with people and achieve your goals.
Wish I knew. Hopefully, he has a plan. They do.
