Today I’ve been researching a very twisty bunnyhole.
Sometime in the past few days, someone posted a link to the pictures of the Podesta 65th Birthday Party where the theme was “Red Shoes,” or just “Red.”

One of my LexiQon assignments is to “Follow the Wives” and so I thought I would trace a bit of info down on Heather Podesta.
I did find some information on her, which I’m saving for another post, but in the meantime, I started searching for some of the people who appeared in the party pictures.
I don’t know why he caught my curiosity, but one of the red shoe people at the party was a young dark haired man named “Ben Murray,”
I have not been able to find a picture of Ben Murray on another web site which matches the Party Ben Murray.
However, I did discover that there are a few “Ben Murrays” who show up on the search engine.
One is a modern artist, and I thought he was a candidate, but I did find a picture of him, and it just doesn’t seem to be the same person as the Party Ben Murray. (If you wish to verify that for yourself, that link is: https://www.youtube.com/user/benzwm022. And https://vimeo.com/187981869)
There is another Ben Murray who was an actor in “West Wing.” I thought that was a candidate, but he looks nothing like Party Ben Murray. He did an interview with a newspaper in Nebraska where he lives now and has joined his father’s law firm. His story of getting to and then leaving Hollywood is interesting, and I’m guessing there is more to the story than what he told the reporter!

Here are some things I believe I actually HAVE learned about Party Ben.

Then, in an article of March 16, 2010 from American Thinker, he is listed as being an attendee of an event called the “RootsCampDC,” representing the Podesta Group.

I did find a couple of other “Ben Murray” references, which COULD be Party Ben, but again, I’m not sure. Just throwing it out there:
1. There is a Ben Murray who appears to be about the right age who apparently participates in Geo Tracking. That got my attention because of recent Q references to it.

[Who knows??? Don’t know what BSD is…I looked and did not see anything definitive. Some possibilities which do not persuade me are below. Age is about right, if Geo Tracker Ben is the same as Birthday Ben. Party Ben looked to be in late 20’s as well.]
