How To Stop Facebook, Google And Amazon From Tracking You
Just thought it would be good info to show how to turn off the tracking device on Google, Amazon and Facebook.
One possible countermeasure is not to go anywhere.
Don’t take your locator with you and do NOT get chipped. Classic cars are another good idea before the million dollar computers controlled your car.
Google, FB, Amazon tracking us even when told not to? Really? Shocked, just shocked.

“Could be”? If you’re surprised by this, go slam your head in the car door.
I just read somewhere and many posted including an IT guy to use DuckDuckGo instead of Google search. Has anyone used it and thoughts? Apparently they dont track anything.
Could?!
HAHAHA! I have no doubt that all the fireflies at my house, not to mention the birds (especially all the Turkey Buzzards) are really govermnent tracking drones with unlimited video and audio recording capacity.
I stay in the bunker. A fly got in once but I subjected it to a strong magnetic field to erase any recordings it may have made.
And before you accuse me of being a “tin foil hat” guy, I do NOT wear any sort of metal hat. I’ve lined the bunker with aluminum foil, so there is no need for that kind of lunacy.
My 65 Willys jeep has an aftermarket electronic distributor. That’s all the fancy electronics on it.
A big improvement over point type ignition.
I use DuckDuckGo. Have for months now. They don’t track you. Prob is I think when you go from them to a search that leads you to Google.
I put this article up because it does show you how to control the settings that shut off the tracking on the other sites.
You didn’t torture the fly by pulling out the listening devices disguised as wings??
StartMail with the encrypted feature and multiple emails in the account
and
StartPage
are good additions
Open VPN
I use DuckDuckGo and startpage. Sadly, it appears that everything still runs through “i.e.” in one way or another. Surely some FReeper knows a workaround. I use “ie” for nothing but when I do a computer clean up, there is always something there.
...or go back to a flip phone?
I only use DuckDuckGo. I never touch Google. I refuse to buy a smart phone. I still use a flip phone. Does anybody know where I can buy a radio?
It is on my smart phone. No idea if it stops the tracking.
“One possible countermeasure is not to go anywhere.”
Or, just leave the phone at home. It is liberating and will make many people better drivers.
“Does anybody know where I can buy a radio?”
Might want to google that. /s
