William H. McRaven, a retired Navy admiral, was commander of the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command from 2011 to 2014. He oversaw the 2011 Navy SEAL raid in Pakistan that killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
Former CIA director John Brennan, whose security clearance you revoked on Wednesday, is one of the finest public servants I have ever known. Few Americans have done more to protect this country than John. He is a man of unparalleled integrity, whose honesty and character have never been in question, except by those who don

Can’t read it unless I pay for it..........Can’t you find another source?
“In 1982, as a junior officer McRaven was assigned to SEAL Team SIX under the command of CDR Richard Marcinko but was pushed out in 1983 due to McRavens concerns about a culture of recklessness, military discipline, and difficulties in keeping his sailors in line
Tells me all I need to know about this REMF.
Ah. Now it becomes clear. He doesn’t, and never did “hope, like most Americans” that Trump would prove himself, etc. And he’s using his previous record to give himself street cred, while conveniently omitting that his service was marred by his backstabbing behavior, during the time he’s referencing. Underhanded. Can’t be trusted.
Thanks to Trump, another swamp creature is exposed.
That's really the $64,000 question. Clearance should be revoked as soon as the paychecks stop. Across the board. 100%. No exceptions.
DONE!
Amen.
Absolutely. Should be a no-brainer.
See my post 34. Serving the government may include being a contractor. Consider my post. Like all other resources, we need a healthy pool of cleared people who want to continue to contribute to the nation, even if they are no longer in uniform.
I would expect at least six or so, with the bile of disgust foaming up in their throats, to come forth and take a black eye for Brennan.
Let's face it.... liberals would run from this guy if they could.
“Like most Americans, I had hoped that when you became president, you would rise to the occasion and become the leader this great nation needs. “
That is pure BULLS****!
Half the country was out to get him from the moment he took the oath of office——and it has never stopped.
.
See 34 and 48 please.
The Commander in Chief at the time McRaven got that position speaks volumes.
From the above article:
“Former CIA director John Brennan, whose security clearance you revoked on Wednesday, is one of the finest public servants I have ever known.”
From the below article:
“John Brennan claimed in May 2017 testimony Hillarys phony dossier didnt factor into the Intelligence Communitys Assessment report on Russian interference of the 2016 presidential election.”
Former Head spook Brennan is in hot water. Any shared skeletons in the closet are in play.
The showdown is coming, and choosing up sides begins in earnest.
Begs the question — IS Brennan a contractor to the government? If he isn’t — if he’s paid by NBC to tell the media what he knows, but is not a contractor to the government RIGHT NOW, then I think he has no “need to know” anything right now.
Maintaining a clearance because MAYBE in the future he might become a contractor is stupid. BTW: I’m a contractor with a clearance.
Revoke McRaven’s security clearance too.
He probably voted for 0bama twice.
That shows poor discernment and lack of critical thinking.

NBC is by no means the type of contractor I am referring to. I mean a govt contractor working on classified govt programs.
..he just sent me another text saying - he forgot to mention, McRaven and McCrystal are the only two libs he ever met in the military officers corps.
