Why does anyone who’s no longer on the job keep their security clearance? What’s their need to know?

I see no reason not to expediently grant his wish, and to keep him under surveillance to be sure he’s not selling us out to our enemies in other ways as well.

The retention of security clearances by the various swamp denizens is merely additional proof of the existence of the swamp where they swim up from the swamp to infest the halls of government and later lay in waiting in the swamp consultancies for the next call to “serve.” It is this ebb and flow that keeps the slime in place so that scummy practices are allowed to exist, a la Page and Strzok.
