Fwiw, the Ford Ranchero, was introduced in 1957. The El Camino was introduced in 1959.

My first car at 16 was an El Camino. Loved it.

Seems more like a Dodge Rampage.

I bought a Rampage in 1982 and loved it... I may have been the only guy on earth who thought they were great.

That would be called a Ford Ranchero. No idea why I remember them, I just do.
