Ford is working on a teeny tiny pickup truck, report says

Ford’s next pickup may be a car.

The automaker, which plans to eliminate all of its four-door car models in the U.S. in favor of a mostly SUV and truck lineup, will introduce Focus-based compact pickup in 2020, Automobile reports.

Ford makes a new manual transmission Ford Ranger overseas. Not sure why they won’t make it here in the U.S.

That would be called a Ford Ranchero. No idea why I remember them, I just do.

I think it probably has to do with the fuel mileage standards...the computer determines the
best time to shift to minimize fuel consumption...if is hard to get an F-150 in manual for that
reason, as told to me at the Ford dealership
