I've been waiting for the new Ford Ranger. It's due out early next year. But I've read that this new Ranger will be bigger than the old one; essentially a mid-sized truck.
That's not what a want. So I guess I'm back to waiting, this time for the Ford Courier.

One of the best, and most reliable, vehicles I’ve ever had was a Chevy LUV. The only reason I traded it in, was, it did not have A/C, and I live in Georgia.

I have a 2007 Ford E-350 XLT passenger van. I just found out that Ford does not make the E-350 series any longer and I do not know what to do. It is the ONLY thing I can use here in Sierra Leone which actually keeps going through the stuff they call “roads” here.
Literally every single car or truck that people try to use here either breaks down or has the front wheel pinions detach.

Me too...My 2006 Ranger 4X4 is getting a bit long of tooth, but I still love it. If they make
the new Ranger as big is the F-150 I may start looking elsewhere.

I searched internet for photos of the Courier, to no avail. Did you find one?

I suspect that EPA fuel economy regulations for trucks versus cars might be a factor in trying to make a car which they can label a truck.

They should instead partner with Subaru to redo the Baja.

I would love to have a Ford Courier of 1950’s vintage. Especially a 1957 McCulloch supercharged model. Had a chance to buy one 35 years ago and let it slip cause I had no more room. What a horses a$$ I was.

We have two cars, my favorite is our 2018 F150 XLT with a 370 HP V8 and a 10 speed trans.
We’ve had several little pickups, the best being a Dodge D50 (over 325,000 miles) and the worst being a Nissan. This F150 when driven in Echo is just as easy on gas as the best of the little ones with the benefit of being large and comfortable.

Modern pickup trucks are way too big and expensive. Absurdly so. I would love to see a return to the “mini” trucks of the 80’s. I had two Dodge D50’s, one of which I turned into a convertible. Those were really awesome and got great gas mileage.
I’m stuck with a 2004 Chevy Z71 4x4 now that is parked because the brake lines rusted out. I swore I’d never buy another GM produce two decades ago, but this was such a good deal. Except it wasn’t.
This truck is like living in the 60’s. Everything breaks. Electric mirrors stop working. fan control stops working, instrument cluster fails, etc. And all of these problems are CHRONIC! Including the brake lines rusting out.
This one truly is the last GM product I’ll ever own.
But I really would like to see smaller (and cheaper) trucks make a return. $40k+ is stupid for a half ton pickup.
