I was a kid in the 1950s. When I was 8 I smoked my first cigarette. A friend from down the street swiped a couple of his mom’s cigarettes and we went behind his garage and lit up. Not good.
Me too. Graduated high school in 57. Started my professional smoking and drinking career at 16 though. Puked my guts out more than once while climbing the learning curve.
