Alex Jones is a complete and utter nutbag. That said, he does have some good facts. Regardless his freedom to express his nutbaggery should be protected. And yes, I know this is not a First Amendment issue, but it is a moral one IMHO.

What’s the difference between what You Tube not allowing Jones and Hannity or Limbaugh screening out certain callers or dumping them mid thought?

He neglected to mention Alex Jones and https://infowars.com is still on the air, with quite good response time I might add.

They have not been censored at all.

When www.FreeRepublic.com is DENIED its domain name, you all will reconsider your support of censorship, just as Facebook cannot deny Latinos.

Being proactive, please post 5 backup donain names for when FreeRepublic is given over to a CNN snowflake.

List please!

I have a question on this issue... and i don’t wish for it to be taken the wrong way... but...

What is the difference between youtube and FR?

In other words, who ultimately “owns” youtube or facebook?

Are these sites technically or even legally considered public domain???

FR makes no bones about banning liberal thought here, and yet here we are seemingly a bit hypocritical because the OWNERS of the youtube site are obviously left leaning.

It doesn’t really matter if they advertise as unbiased or fair, (when they are not) because ultimately those sites are privately owned... and outside of copyright concerns, they can legally publish anything they want, or restrict access all they want because it is THEIR platform... just like FR is owned by Jimrob.

The answer to this whole silencing of conservatives on social media issue is fairly simple... Legitimate competition. We need alternatives to youtube that are either openly biased for conservative use, or truly fair and impartial when it comes to public access.

Just because Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter have seemingly cornered the market on social media USAGE does not violate someone elses free speech rights when they are banned from using those platforms.

We need to stop wasting time whining about this, and start fighting back with the power of free market competition....
While we have it.

They came for Alex Jones, and in the brou-ha-ha almost everyone forgot about Q, and shadow banning, and the bogus FISA application, and Bruce Ohr. Mission accomplished.

I don’t usually say anything about Alex Jones on FR because my understanding is that Jim doesn’t like it. But I have listened to Alex Jones many times and many times he is right. Sometimes he’s totally off the rez. You have to decide for yourself about that stuff.

One thing I have observed over time is that Alex Jones is a tireless advocate for children and now basically evil the defax system is. With all the high up pedophilia stuff that is going on I’m not surprised that there is an effort to take him out now.
