I have just pinged the garden thread. It’s a once a week ping-usually on Friday evening. If you have an article to share, now would be a pretty good time to post it.

Getting a good rain tonight here in the Colorado Rockies. Already harvested some potatoes and mustard greens. Waiting on tomatoes and pole beans. None of the black eyed peas came up.

I hope everyone is doing well and has had a pleasant July , I am still acclimating to my new home state of Louisiana and am putting the fine touches on the plants /trees/lawn at my home.....kinda funny how everything is green down here with all the rain and all...hmmmm

No garden this year. Been fighting an infestation of Horehound and losing for years, so this year is focused on battling the Weed from Hell.

This is where I live! I mean, I don't LIVE in a Sunflower Field, but this Sunset shot IS in Iowa County, near our farm. The New, New Thing around here for those that grow for Farmer's Markets is to plant an acre or so of Sunflowers as an 'attraction' on their farms and invite The Public in to take photos and enjoy the flowers...and of course SELL them something on the way out. It's brilliant marketing, actually!
