Same one. On July 25th, 2018, Jones said, “Our policy is you stand during the anthem, toe on the line,” Jones said Wednesday during a team press conference. I guess he had second thoughts about last year. Perhaps we should reward him for standing up to the other owners.

This is a lie. It was going to be the highest rated show in history, but the Russians hacked into NBC, and made everyone out there watch something else.

Why can’t you and others stop referring to that PRE-ANTHEM photo of the Cowboys players, coaches and owner kneeling to show the team was unified?
When the anthem played and the flag was presented, they were all standing.
Every time the photo is not properly defined, it just proliferates the lie that the whole team kneeled during the anthem.

Great distinction. My point has been that Jones should be supported for trying to resist the rest of the owners and the players and the other teams should be shunned until they also all stand for the anthem. What Jones is trying to do is to rally his team behind that concept and make it US against THOSE who would turn this game into a political football. I hope he succeeds, because if he doesn’t, then there will be no NFL and the disrupters will have won.
