So many tv episodes saying that the planes fly themselves. Uh, NO.

Demetrius is lucky he didn’t actually get airborne.

I’m presuming Zemarcuis Devon couldn’t even get the engines started...

When the suspect turned his gaze toward the officers, two of them allegedly recognized Scott from past encounters. He is not yet "turning his life around".

It is a shame they stopped him. He might have become a very expensive Darwin nominee. Of course it is likely he has already procreated given his heritage.

See how easy it is to become a real live Felon?
Just one Grade A. dumb decision.
Now, try reversing the process.
They have dealt with this little fool before.
This caper here cannot just be laughed off.

Was he looking to blow up the auto-pilot?

he didn't believe there was much more to the task than pushing buttons and pulling leversWell, that is true, but the trick isn't to know WHICH buttons Andy levers to use, WHEN, and in which combination.
To: EdnaMode

Actually the hardest part of flying is the radio and navigating unfamiliar taxi ways. Both require readbacks and a thorough understanding of procedures. Clearance delivery is brutal. One develops a shorthand because the read back must be exact.

Well, that is true, but the trick isn't to know WHICH buttons Andy levers to use, WHEN, and in which combination. There are actually YouTube videos that could help you with that, just doubt he pulled them up.
For example, do a YouTube search for Embraer Engine Start...

Was he seeing 45 cents?
50 cent and nickelback

Too bad they don’t park A380’s overnight at the Texarkana Airport.
To: EdnaMode
Surely you can’t be serious.
