The courts did that.

The Constitution does say that the people’s right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Those rights are infringed regularly by the courts.

The Constitution does say that Obama cannot be President.
This was squelched by the courts, apparently the citizens do not have standing to stand for the Constitution.<<

The 13th Amendment prohibits slavery but that did not stop the leftist courts to force servitude on bakers — it had to be undone by SCOTUS.

Well, strictly speaking, the 13th amendment was repealed by the 16th amendment.
