There were bells
On the hill
But I never heard them ringing
No, I never heard them at all
Til I met you

Sorry about the multiple posts!
I kept getting a blank white screen when I pressed ‘Post’.
I didn’t know it was taking.

I recall hearing Paul McCartney sing that song. And he sang it very well. I was certain that he had written it, but no, that song was from a movie that came out years before he recorded it. The song is similar to some of his best original music,
such as Here, There & Everywhere.

I walked into a Walgreens last week, and when I passed by the toy section, that song “Ring My Bell” kept playing.
It was a good dance song back in the day.
I could never figure out which toy or display it was coming from, so I kept moving.
That happens at Halloween and Christmas.

Several Christmas carols have bells in the title:
My favorite: "Carol of the Bells"
Best known: "Jingle Bells"

Did not know that song was from a movie. Also thought it was a Lennon/McCartny thing,

My favorite:
Les Trois Cloches (the three bells)--Les Compagnons de la Chanson (the singing companions) with Edith Piaf (1952)

Carol of the Bells especially the old Andre’s Champagne ads

The Three Bells--Sammy Kaye & His Orchestra (1952)
English version (not a translation) of #15
To: apocalypto
I used to have a Xmas album with Dianne Carroll singing
“Silver Bells”. She had/has a very good voice.
Anna Maria Alberghetti was also on that album.
