No, they are not allowed. City ordinance says so.

And if you read the thread - you would know by now that these ducks are not confined to their own property. They are crapping all over the neighborhood.

But you not being a “busybody neighbor” would not have a problem with that?

I did read the thread. How much “crapping all over the neighborhood” do you really think two ducks are doing? Do you think it could even be distinguished from the background amount of avian feces any neighborhood usually receives?

I am aware of the city ordinance. It seems rather onerous as applied in this case, and the neighbors seeking to enforce it seem awfully petty to me. Maybe they have a right to have the town enforce this ordinance, but I have the right to call them out for what they are.

The ducks are in a confined area on their own property. It said right in the article and I included that sentence in my excerpt. Here it is for you again:

“keeps his two ducks, named Nibbles and Bill, in a pen behind the family’s home, WOODTV.com reported. “
