Thats my point - they DID advertise it for the 1st and 2nd seasons but the 3rd season was almost completely ignored - if not for my DVR already setup to record it I wouldve never known it was back.
They were done with the series this season and it showed (budget cuts, lack of advertising dollars, etc) its amazing they still managed to kick out some good writing regardless.
I saw plenty of ads for season 3. Low revenue shows get budget cuts, that’s life on margin.
Several companies now offer channel packages over the internet like youd get with cable. DirectTV, Hulu and YouTube do among others. The catch is that not all of them offer a way to record programs like a DVR.
I watched the 100, until they turned it into a homo-promo.
“Sawyer was my favorite character.”
He was my second favorite. Kate was my #1. She has the girl next door total sex appeal.
“We watched a few modern TV shows through a few episodes, but they are mostly soap operas. That is, the story drags on and on and you feel like the writers are making it up as they go along.”
Reminds me of Star Wars.
One other thing I don’t understand is all the police and lawyer shows. The police always catch the bad guys and the technology is infallible. When I see CSI-Los Angeles, CSI-New Orleans, etc. I wonder if in Germany they would have had SS-Hamburg, SS-Berlin, SS-Munich.
Mine too! Whatever the season finale is, it isn't going to resolve the many questions of how many different aliens are involved, who are the good ones, the bad ones and who eventually wins.....
“The catch is that not all of them offer a way to record programs like a DVR.”
That’s good to know. Thanks. It hadn’t occurred to me that would be the case. Something else for me to think about when I get serious about shopping.
The only to cable networks I need to see live are FNC and FSD. Hadn’t really thought about having to get a DVR, although about 75% of what I watch now, I’ve prerecorded.
Tell me Proxy Snyder doesn't have a great career in politics ahead of him.
I honestly think those CSI shows are a form of propaganda to scare people into actually believing the government is virtually god-like and its ability to catch you. And I’ll bet it works. :-)
This season of Colony hasn’t been very good since they left the camp and one of the sons was killed. More of a wind-down.
I just started watching “Condor” which is a tv series based on “Six days of the Condor”. After one episode I’m hooked. It’s produced by AT&T with William Hurt being the only actor I really recognize.
It’s still in its first season. I think tonight is episode number 7.
Season 1 of “Marvel’s Agent of Shield” was long enough ago that watching it now feels fresh enough. Even ‘Sleepy Hollow, ‘Grimm’, and ‘The Mentalist’ are old enough to watch again now too. At least to me.
This stinks. I was disappointed when “Jerico” was canceled abruptly and the entire series end of it was crammed in one episode. Netflix use to pick up canceled shows and make more episodes but I think they are allocating their money to spreading the word of communism.
Been saving the season on Tivo, so I have not watched this season yet. Did read that is was cancelled.
Paramount’s Yellowstone is getting a 2nd season. It is a watchable evening soap opera. Just don’t agree to go to the train station. :)
Loved Wild Kingdom.
“The Man in the High Castle” on amazon covered that about Nazi cop shows.
Really!!!???? Dude... I wish I would have grown up in your neighborhood!
They brought back Babylon 5.
Damn I had my fingers crossed
