Russia’s Nuclear Tsunami Apocalypse Torpedo is Named 'Poseidon'

Russia’s dreaded nuclear torpedo, designed to nuke entire coastal cities into oblivion and trigger tsunamis, has been sighted in tests at sea. Once thought a hoax, internet researchers have tracked development of the system all the way back to 2008. The weapon was recently named “Poseidon” after the Russian military polled the public for a new name.

The weapon, formerly known as “Status-6” and KANYON, was recently renamed Poseidon. Poseidon beat out two other names, Aurora and Skif, in a naming contest held by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Unfortunately The Worst Weapon Ever was not part of the contest, but it should have won handily.

Hell, let’s first respond to Russia’s cyber attacks. Those by themselves seem to be acts of war.

Fortunes are being spent to make weapons more precise in their targeting and warhead size tailored to be more lethal but with less collateral damage and civilian casualties.

Isn’t the very concept of this tsunami-producing nuclear torpedo - let alone the actual development and production of it - a violation of the Geneva Convention(s) of war?

Actually it would be more prudent to not keep classified servers in bathroom closets first. There are more hackers than just Russians.

The Russians are pikers compared to the Chinese. Lots of Russian hackers are independents or members of small criminal operations. The Chinese employ coordinated, brute-force hacking and distributed denial-of-service attacks.
