NATCHITOCHES, LA A woman has been arrested and charged with first degree murder after a 6-month-old baby was kidnapped and found severely burned an hour later.
Twenty-five-year-old Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith has been charged with first degree murder of Levi Cole Ellerbe.
Ellerbes mother told the Natchitoches Police Department that the men banged on the door of her trailer around 9 p.m. on July 17.
She said the men sprayed her with a substance believed to have been pepper spray, and she fled the trailer to get away from the men.
When she returned, the babys mother said she realized her infant son was missing.
Firefighters found the baby severely burned about one mile away approximately one hour after the kidnapping was initially reported.
He later died of his wounds after being airlifted to a burn center in Shreveport.
On July 21, the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal, and the Natchitoches Police Department placed Smith under arrest for the first degree murder of Ellerbe.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
There are “further details” in the form of pictures of the person who did the kidnapping, and also of the baby and his mother. Why hasn’t this story made national headlines???
Why?
Because it doesn’t fit the desired narrative of the Wall Street media machine.
Just more B on W violins.
Move along, nothing for the LSM to notice.
There isn’t a punishment severe enough for this murderer receive.
How absolutely horrifying for the first responders. I don’t care how tough you think you are you’re going to carry that around forever.
So a 25YO woman has been charged but the mother claims that ‘men’ sprayed her with pepper spray and forced her from her home. More to the story here.
LSU you fans are horrible!
That’s not a woman. It’s not even a human. I say burn it.
Who were the men that took the child?
You should be ashamed.
There was no kidnapping. A woman murdered her baby and then made up a lame story.
It's certainly happened before. Remember Susan Smith?
Sick stuff. They attempted to kidnap a mom from a trailer park in Louisiana, but she escaped. So they killed the baby. The killers knew the mom somehow.
I’ll bet drugs and a live-in boyfriend will be a part of the story.
Yeah. I’m going to hold my outrage long enough to find the real facts of the situation.
A black person kidnapping and then burning a caucasian baby to death? Isn’t that some sort of “hate” crime? Maybe the worthless feral perp did it out of love?
Sounds like a terroristic lynching to me.
This dirty bitch should be burned alive slowly. She doesn’t deserve life in prison or a quick painless death. She deserves to suffer severely for a prolonged period of time before she dies.
But I always try to be fair to the facts (as the media provides them, anyway /s) to see if there's another explanation. In trying to consider all options, I actually do have some questions that make me wonder if you're onto something. There are a few things that don't quite seem to add up based on available information, anyway
First, why in the world did the mother leave the house? If 2 men came to my door and sprayed me with Mace, instinct would be to get to a sink/source of water to wash my eyes out, my phone, or my favorite handgun, none of which require me to leave the house. And *I* don't have children...I suspect a mother's instinct is (dear God...SHOULD be...) to protect their children at all costs, so her leaving is a strange response.
Second, if for whatever hare-brained reason I *did* leave, I would be going to the next door neighbor or neighbor across the street. Not sure how long she was gone before returning to find the baby missing, but it had to have been at least a few minutes, I'd presume. I can only project a little, because I have no kids. But I'm thinking I'd be in the neighbor's house screaming, looking out the window at my house fearful for my baby's safety. Stories indicates that she called the police at 9:10PM......not completely pitch black at that hour of the night.
Per the news, the baby's body was found near railroad tracks about a mile and a half away. A bit of sleuthing work on google maps in the area and Mayberry Trailer Park as well as Breda Ave near the railroad tracks can be found pretty easily. It's a straight shot between those two places down what looks like a primary road in that area. Obviously, just an idea, but it looks like it could be traveled on foot pretty easily.
Now all that said..... this happened Tuesday evening, and by Saturday, the police have arrested a person who appears to be completely unrelated. Not suggested her to be a person of interest, but arrested and outright charged her. That's a bit curious to me to have happened so quickly without some pretty significant evidence.
Whatever info comes out as this goes on, I hope the baby and those who loved him are able to get some peace.
