Possibly, the HID (High Intensity Discharge) Spectrum Grow Lights' wiring malfunctioned. It'll be interesting to see what they find as cause of fire. I used to grow 500 different nursery stock seedlings and 800 different perennials up to 1-2yrs, in massive greenhouses, before transplanting to 1gal pots and moving outside. The lights were expensive to run and challenging to maintain, but I never had any fires in 23yrs.
