An 18-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl were killed and 13 other people injured on Sunday night when a gunman opened fire on a busy Toronto street.
The suspected shooter, a 29-year-old Toronto man, also died. Toronto police say he shot 15 people and exchanged gunfire with police before dying of a gunshot wound.
The exact circumstances of the mans death are now being looked into by Ontarios Special Investigations Unit.

Exactly, they also use this non-description: “a 29-year-old Toronto man”
LOL. How many times have we heard that one before, especially in news from Minneapolis. When the media says some heinous murder was committed by a “29-year old Minnesota man” we know immediately they mean a Somalian muslim.
In this instance, I would disagree with your reading. The Toronto view of the world is something like the old Chinese middle-kingdom view of things.
There is Toronto. Toronto is important. The GTA (Greater Toronto Area) is populated by people fortunate enough to be near Toronto and they sort of matter. A few of them matter a lot. The rest of Ontario occasionally may matter. Ottawa may even, on occasion, be worthy of being mentioned by name. The rest of Canada (and the rest of the world) is fortunate to have Toronto, but really isn’t too important.
In one of the articles that I read, it noted that one of the fatalities was from Toronto and one was from the GTA.
That almost sounds like an old description of Michael Jackson....
I have no doubt. do you have a link?
What type of garment do suicide attackers wear?
Will Canada follow the German lead that the authorities were still completely baffled by the motive of an Iranian-born male on a bus knife rampage?
Oh sorry wrong thread....just being South Park Nostalgic
Why would someone wear white gloves and what appears to be a white bandana or a white surgical mask? It really did make me think of Michael Jackson, funny you said that.
I readily admit the resolution or capture of the video may may my impression wrong, but it sure looks like it.
I guess there are some who probably cover their face...
I’ve been around so long I remember when MJ was black and sang good music.

A GREEK CHASSIDIC RABBI! Who else?
...that was way before his plug in nose
And he was talking all heterosexual-like......
Those were happier times. We had never heard of “Barack Hussein Obama”.
From the Toronto Sun article on the FR thread about this last night:
“Crime specialist Ross McLean said police at the scene told him, before they moved the shooters body from the scene, they had to check in for explosives.
“A little after midnight, police cleared media and bystanders away from an area near Broadview and Danforth in order to detonate a suspicious object inside of a trash can.”
“As of Monday morning, police still had the Danforth closed between Broadview and Pape Aves. and TTC subway trains were bypassing Chester station.”
Was this an attempt to stampede people into a subway station and then blow up a bomb?
The Pulse Propagandists never got that quite right, either.
They needed an even 50, to sound better.
I cant tell what he looks like in that video. Dark hair, is that a long nose? Couldnt see the face but something was pointing out. They must have a name by now.
Subway station is one possible target.
The suspect was heading east, and near the eastern end of what was blocked off by police, you will find a Greek-Orthodox Church.
There is also an RC Church kitty corner to the Orthodox Church (my wife was baptized in the RC Church), but shooting up Greek town and blowing up an Orthodox Church would be some culture’s idea of fun.
It is just possible that they are pursuing possible accomplices etc. and fear that releasing a name might hamper the effort.
