He thought he was participating in a film about how public officials can respond to terrorism and was enacting a scene under direction from the Borat stooges. Since he had actually been issued death threats for proposing such things as banning the burqa on Georgia state property, he thought it was legit. Sadly, he was incredibly gullible to the whole proposition and fell into a trap set by the leftist hucksters who pulled off this sting. Now Borat is going to present this as “normal” American behavior. Someone needs to pull a similar stunt on Borat.
