One person died and multiple people were injured in a shooting Toronto Sunday night, police say. Nine people have been transported to hospitals.
Six people were transported to one trauma center, two to local hospitals, and one to a pediatric trauma center, officials said.
An unknown number of people are being treated at the scene of the shooting, paramedics said.

Toronto has experienced many shootings this year, with many dead. They are talking about the gun registry again is what I’ve heard. Stupid politicians. From what I’ve read, this violence is gang related.
This is a prime example of how strict gun laws do NOTHING to stop this kind of crime.

Multiple people have been shot in Toronto’s Riverdale neighbourhood Sunday evening, according to paramedics.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near Danforth and Pape avenues around 10 p.m. ET
Toronto police have confirmed that the shooter is dead and that there are fatalities.
There are no specifics on injuries.
Victims are being sent to local hospitals.
Witness describes chaos
Jody Steinhauer tells CBC News she was at Christina’s restaurant on the Danforth with her family when she heard what sounded like 10 to 15 blasts of firecrackers.
She said she was told to run to the back of the restaurant.
“We started to hear people scream out front,” Steinhauer said.
Steinhauer said she was told that four to six people were shot.

He who hesitates.... You’ve got a cougar stalking your wife and you don’t start the process, onerous or not? Get a big dog, at the very least. Ever heard of a bow? They shoot arrows.
Next thing you know the Canadians will be repealing the Second Amendment of their Constitution.
Oh wait...
